Europe, Terra Incognita ?
Apart from the current investment rush in industry, there are plenty opportunities for investment into tourism. In previous years representatives of established investors mentioned to us, that they invited their families to Slovakia during the holidays and proudly informed us, they visited all places we mentioned in small old leaflet Slovakia - the land of opportunities. Many of the foreigners are saying that we should focus first of all on tourism. While we are accompanying investors accross the region to identify the best location for business start-up, we of course comment the country and notabilities that we are passing along. They are asking us fascinated by surrounding, where they could buy a book about the area, why such information does not exists. To fill the information gap, we prepared previous pages, albeit not fully describing the region, but at least we created the list of locations that are really worth of visit.
We realize that culture heritage and nature of this region is extraordinary. After industry would return to the levels it used to be prior velvet revolution (Czechoslovakia 1989), tourism will be one of the most important assets that offers sustainability of the further region development.
