Today Ms. Inna Vasylivna Ohnivets, Consul General of Ukraine, visited the Office of the Kosice Self-Governing Region for the first time since her appointment. Ms. Ohnivets, accompanied by the Vice-consul Vitalyi Usatyi, was received by Mr. Rudolf Bauer, President of the Kosice Self-Governing Region.
The main topic of their discussion was liberalization of visa procedure between the two states. Both partners would welcome its simplification with the aim to create better business environment.
During the meeting President of KSR expressed the full support for the Ukraine accession to the EU by saying that: "Our support will last until the moment, it happens". Inna V. Ohnivets offered the possibility to provide with information those Slovak investors, who would like to invest in Ukraine.
At the end of the meeting the Consul General and the President expressed their hope for closer cooperation between Consulate General of Ukraine and the Office of the Kosice Self-Governing Region.
