The President of the Kosice Self-Governing Region (KSR) Rudolf Bauer received today the ambassador of Netherlands in SR Laurent Stokvis. He informed the guest about region and its potential, competencies of KSR, reform of the state administration, tax reform and expectations of KSR associated with SR joining to European Union. Laurent Stokvis was interested in the information of opening the Liaison Office of the KSR in Brussels, establishing the Regional Development Agency and presentations of the region aimed to attract the attention of perspective investors to the East of the Slovak Republic.
While talking about the foreign activities R. Bauer mentioned that KSR develops the network of regional representatives abroad with an aim to intensify the contacts and interchange of information among the entrepreneur subjects.
