Representatives of the Office of Styria regional government and managers of Cargo-Centre in Graz visited today the Kosice Self-governing Region, to discuss with its representatives building of logistic centre near Kosice. The existence of logistic centre would not just bring new job opportunities, but it could also be a big advantage of the region in decision making of foreign investors, whether or not to invest in the Kosice Region.
Representatives of Ministry of Transport, Posts and Telecommunications of the Slovak Republic, Transport Research Institute, Railway company Cargo Slovakia, company Interport s.r.o., who were also present at the meeting, expressed their interest to cooperate in this project.
Other topic of discussion was the possibility of closer cooperation between the Kosice Region and Styria Region in drafting the feasibility study of the terminal in Bociar and the possibility of its financing from European Funds.
