The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium in Slovakia – Olivier Belle visited Kosice Self-Governing Region. It was his first official visit of his diplomatic mission in Slovakia. He was welcomed by Mr. Rudolf Bauer, President of the Kosice Self-Governing Region (KSR), in the Office of KSR. They spoke about situation in Slovakia after joining the European Union and also about the iniciative of the regional self-government.

The  Ambassador was interested in activities of regional self-government and connection between state administration and regional self-government.

Rudolf Bauer informed the Ambassador also about fiscal decentralisation and about competencies of the regional self-government.
